Volunteer Fairfax enables nonprofits to list one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities on their website calendar and in their web-based database so community members can easily search for and get involved in volunteer opportunities. Support coordinators can use this tool to list opportunities to help individuals with disabilities move to their new homes: they can help pack, load boxes and furniture in trucks and unload boxes and furniture in the individual’s new home. Nonprofits must be members of Volunteer Fairfax to post volunteer opportunities. Memberships range from no cost to $150/year, and different membership levels have different benefits.
