Affordable Rental Set-Aside Program

Alexandria City's Affordable Rental Set-Aside Program provides a limited number of discounted units in some newly constructed rental developments under City’s Affordable Housing Policy. Units designated as affordable set-asides have long-term affordability requirements, are discounted by the developer to levels affordable to low and moderate income renters. The units are rented directly from each participating property. Interested persons should contact these properties directly to determine availability. When new units are added to the program in newly constructed properties, the Office of Housing notifies interested persons by email.
