Fairfax County Dept of Family Services Self-Sufficiency assists eligible households with their primary heating expenses.

The Fairfax County Office of Human Rights and Equity Programs handles complaints of discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations, private education and credit. 

The Fairfax County Rental Program (FCRP) includes over 1,929 multifamily units and 504 senior units.

The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher Program covers the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program for Fairfax County and the Cities of Fairfax and Falls Church.

Fairfax FISH provides emergency financial assistance with rent deposits.  It also provides emergency food, perishable and non-perishable, to individuals and families in need.

Falls Church Community Service Council, Inc. provides new and used furniture to individuals and families in need.  Emergency food, perishable and non-perishable, to individuals and families in need.

A state funding source for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities moving to housing with a lease in their own name.

Floris United Methodist Church distributes non-perishable food and seasonal produce.

Food for Others provides food through warehouse services and neighborhood sites. Individuals and families in need to supplemental food may go to one of 16 neighborhood site locations to pick up food.
