HPP - Homeless Prevention
Areas of Assistance: Emergency Rent (one-time assistance), Prince William County, VA
Homeless Prevention Program (HPP) is available across Prince William County and is administered by Northern Virginia Family Service’s SERVE campus in Manassas. The purpose of HPP is to prevent homelessness through diversion from shelter stays and to promote housing stability. HPP offers financial assistance and case management to help individuals and families become self-reliant. Households must be at risk of losing their housing, have no adequate housing options, and have significant risk factors.
Prince William County Office of Housing and Community Development offers rent help, money for deposits, and other housing resources. Apply for grants from the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program.
