Alexandrians InVolved Ecumenically (ALIVE, Inc.) delivers mattresses, beds, tables, chairs, sofas, chests, and other furniture to Alexandrians in need of furniture. ALIVE also provides housewares, including pots and pans, towels, sheets, dishes, silverware, and blankets. ALIVE also provides donated canned and packaged food delivered by volunteers to almost 1,000 needy families who are referred by local social service agencies and member congregations.
